“ First time we've tried Masi's since they reopened. My husband had the lasagna and I had the chopped salad (minus the olives). Both of us were well pleased. The lasagna was plentiful as was the bread. The flavor was so good and it was still hot by the time he brought it home. He's going to try the meat sauce next time - he had marinara this tme. My salad was very good - the chicken was nicely seasoned, the tomatoes fresh and the fresh spinach was an added bonus! Think we found our new favorite place! We highly recommend it! ”
“ Overall great place.... Have had their flat crust on a couple of occasions... First time we tried the deep dish... Really really good! The sauce and cheese are great....o really liked the crust... Crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside... Update 2-3-23 5 years later.... We are doing a comparison of many of the regional/ local pizza joints. Over the last 4 weeks we've had 4 of the same pizzas from various places. Doing flat crust due to my mother's preferences. “ Order the Fabulous 4 and jalapeno poppers for dinner. This place has been around forever and has real authentic food, it’s not like the fake toppings and crust you’d get from on of the big box pizza places. While I don’t understand some of these bad reviews, I can say this about one of my beloved pizza places. They have outstanding customer service, whether you call in walk in or order online, they go above and beyond for you. I asked about an ingredient being switched not only did they, but they checked before they made the pizza to verify. They were so sweet and wanted to make sure as it was an allergy. This was the first order I’ve placed since I’ve moved back to this area and I have to say it tasted like home. This is my go to from now on! Prices were actually slightly better than that of papa J or Pizza H and Dom when you figure delivery fees in there. Great pizza, service and even Door dasher! ”
“ Consistent quality, great pizza! When we order pizza, it's not a question of where we will order from. Even after the change of ownership, they still deliver a consistent Masi's pizza. Delivery is always fast, and the pizza is consistently good. Usually get 1/2 pepperoni, mushrooms, onion and the other half cheese. Last time ordering, for whatever reason, they added cheesy fries to my order. I was going to call and dispute, but once we tried them, we quickly decided to just take the hit. I am craving them now. They were that good. Quite possibly will add them to any future order. Bonus: Pizza comes with a menu with coupons so you can save on delivery, bonus pizza, etc. ”

“ Changed rating to 5 Stars. Applaud the successful effort to improve the Italian Beef and Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. Was able to order a couple extra Au Jus for the generous serving of Italian Beef on the sandwich. Steak burger-- YES, still really good. Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo-- trusting Masi revised the sauce to make it more creamy smooth and not so thick. Traditional pizza-- more like NY style crust, good savory flavor and texture-- not too doughy (I know this is Chicagoland, but lived in NY, what can I say). Generous with ingredients and has always been fresh. Never had the deep dish or stuffed, but it looks delicious in the menu highlights pictures online. Calamari, breaded mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, and strawberry cheesecake-- very yummy. All their salads have been excellent-- never been disappointed with any of the salads. They certainly have many more menu items that I have not tried. I look forward to one day being able to give five stars! ”
“ The thin crust pizza is terrific. I cannot recommend it more highly. The deep dish pizza puts Giordano's and Uno's to shame. Try the panzarotti for a change of pace. It's a deep fried dough with pizza ingredients inside it. It is so delicious. Masi's has the very best pizza in the Carpentersville Algonquin area. ”
“ I ordered delivery. I've lived in the area for 20 years and this is first time I ordered from a local pizza place. I ordered the Western Pizza and I loved it. The cheese was my favorite part and there was a generous amount of toppings. My family also enjoyed the pizza as well. I do wish I ordered some sides like garlic bread. That will be next time and I will be ordering again. ”
